Today, Bond County CEO visited the City of Greenville, Illinois Visitors Center and Plaza on Second with our Facilitator Jes Adam, who also fills the role of Tourism Director for the City of Greenville.

Jes taught the students about the Plaza Project’s beginnings, the grant funding that made the project possible, what stood on the grounds before, and the many phases of development the project went through before being opened to the public.

Plaza on Second is the new home for Greenville events and concerts, offering a food truck court, performance area, visitors center, public restrooms, a weather feature, and more to come.
