It’s a busy week! Today, Bond County CEO spent the morning with Greenville Veterinary Clinic!

Dr. Hemker explained the history of the long-time vet clinic and her path to becoming its owner. She also shared how the clinic has changed to meet the needs of her patients and their owners. One of the highlights was seeing how the clinic is implementing new technologies to increase efficiency and educate pet owners on conditions, causes, and treatments.

Also, Becky gave us a useful lesson in inventory management and cost control. From her years of experience and an ever-evolving system, Becky contributes to the success of the clinic and customer satisfaction by keeping much needed supplies, medications, and pet food in stock with a limited amount of shrinkage.

Dr. Hemker also shared the equipment, laboratory, and (what we’re calling) The VetMobile which allows her to have all needed supplies and equipment while on farm calls and away from the clinic.
